The Way

The Way offers one small daily practice, reading, or teaching.

The daily stone

Each day presents one stone on the current path. The wheel shows where you are, but it is not a score or percentage.

Marking a stone complete

Read the teaching, then reach the reflection and completion actions naturally at the end of the page. Choose Mark as Read when you are ready.

After completion, Undo remains visible for seven seconds. The same closing area then offers Next Stone, while The Whole Path remains available near the top of the stone.

Returning after time away

Orthros does not create a backlog. It offers the stone for today. You have not failed the app and do not need to catch up before praying.

Quick reference

  • The wheel lights when today's stone is complete, and your place is spoken as just that: a place (“the seventh stone”), never a fraction or a percentage.
  • Away for a day or two? Nothing has piled up. Orthros offers only today's stone, under the name “Rekindle.”
  • The Whole Path doorway remains available near the top of every stone.
  • The final reflection and completion actions appear at the end of the reading instead of floating above the tab bar.
  • After Mark as Read, Undo remains fully visible for seven seconds and the completed stone offers Next Stone.
